RHA Filler Collection Q & A
What are the RHA fillers?
RHA is short for Resilient Hyaluronic Acid and it’s a Swiss designer filler by Teoxane. It is part of the Revance collection of fillers that is FDA approved for the treatment of dynamic wrinkles and folds. When injected into your face or body, hyaluronic acid fillers restore lost volume to reduce lines and wrinkles while giving you a natural look.
What are the benefits of dermal fillers?
The main benefits you can expect:
- Younger-looking skin
- Fewer lines, wrinkles, and folds
- Tighter, smoother skin
- Improved facial contours
- Collagen and elastin production
- Improvements in facial symmetry
- Plumper lips
- Self-confidence
Dermal fillers are quick, virtually painless treatments that offer long-lasting, anti-aging results. Your provider may combine RHA fillers with Botox or other cosmetic procedures to perfect your outcome.
Are RHA fillers right for me?
To find out if fillers are right for you, your aesthetic specialist will inquire about your medical history and desired outcome. They will examine your skin in areas you’re concerned about and create a tailored cosmetic treatment plan to match your needs and preferences.
What should I expect during a dermal fillers treatment?
Your dermal filler procedure is simple. While you rest on a reclining chair in a relaxing room, your provider may numb the treatment area. Next, they gently inject hyaluronic acid fillers into targeted areas of your face, lips, or body. Each injection takes just a minute or two, making dermal fillers an easy procedure to perform during your lunch break.
What happens after a dermal fillers procedure?
After you receive dermal filler injections, you can resume normal activities immediately. While there’s no downtime, you can expect some tenderness, redness, or swelling for a short time. If you’d like, you can ice the targeted area to reduce swelling. You will notice immediate results, with continued improvements in your skin’s appearance developing over the next few days. The only restrictions include no working out the day of the treatment, and don’t vigorously massage your face. You may gently wash your face the night of the treatment.
Hyaluronic acid fillers often last 6-12 months, or longer in some cases. RHA fillers are approved for use in dynamic wrinkles of the face and last up to 15 months in duration. After this period of time, your specialist offers repeat injections to help you achieve long-lasting results.
