Vampire FaceLift Q & A
What is Vampire FaceLift?
A Vampire FaceLift harnesses the power of a patient's own blood along with Dermal Filler. A unique filler is injected into the face, that is mixed with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). The result is more voluminous and rejuvenated profile. This treatment can address several concerns like volume loss, wrinkles and poor texture. The PRP will encourage healing as well as stimulate the growth of new collagen, resulting in firmer, more youthful skin.
How does Platelet Rich Plasma rejuvenate the skin?
Platelets assist the tissues in repairing themselves and producing new cells. When PRP is injected into target areas of the skin, it encourages collagen growth, skin renewal, and tissue rejuvenation. As a result, wrinkles are softened, and skin becomes smoother in texture.
How does Vampire FaceLift differ from Vampire Facial?
A Vampire Facial utilizes only PRP therapy along with microneedling. This treatment is mainly to focus on texture and pigmentation concerns. A Vampire FaceLift combines Dermal Filler treatments along with the PRP Therapy. This treatment helps fix volume loss while also stimulating collagen production. Both are safe and non-surgical options. During a consultation, the patient will receive a personalized plan to match the desired goals.
How long will it take to see results?
Immediately after injection, patients will see immediate results in volume correction. This is due to the dermal filler, a gel substance that fills the tissues immediately as it’s injected. Patients will see continued results over the next few weeks as the Platelet Rich Plasma stimulates collagen production.
What is the downtime like for Vampire FaceLift?
There is minimal downtime with Vampire FaceLift. Patients can return to work the next day. The most common side effects are bruising and swelling, which may take up to two weeks to fully heal. It is best to plan treatment around any big event and allow yourself about two weeks for healing.
The best way to maintain the results of a Vampire FaceLift or any other PRP Therapy is to schedule a new treatment before the skin has returned to its prior condition. This allows the patient to maintain beautiful and youthful looking skin for the long term without any interruptions.
