What is Bellafill?

Bellafill is a dermal filler that provides an instant lift beneath the surface of your skin, smoothing out deep laugh lines, correcting wrinkles, and transforming the appearance of pitted acne scars. Since Bellafill is an injection, so there are no incisions and no scarring.

How long can I expect the results to last?

Bellafill gives you a great return on your investment; when injected to correct laugh lines, also called the nasolabial folds -- research shows that patients are satisfied for as long as five years. Bellafill can also be done for acne scars and typically lasts up to two years after receiving treatment.

What’s in Bellafill?

Bellafill is composed of microspheres that stay in your skin for a long time to ensure long-lasting results. These microspheres are made of a time-tested biocompatible material called polymethyl methacrylate, which doctors have used in numerous medical devices for over six decades.

How does Bellafill work?

Initially, the collagen in this formulation lifts and fills your skin to provide new volume and fullness. Over time, the collagen is absorbed and disposed of by your lymphatic system, but the microspheres remain, encouraging the production of new, natural collagen.

Can men receive Bellafill?

Yes, Bellafill has been tested on both men and women, and Dr. Lee frequently treats both men and women using Bellafill. Both groups show satisfaction with the results they achieve.

Am I a good candidate?

Because Bellafill is so safe that most patients are strong candidates for the injection. However, specific allergies, bleeding disorders, or history of keloidal scars might make you ineligible for the procedure. Our injectors will go over your medical history, allergies, and current medications before receiving treatment to ensure your safety.

When will I see a change and how much downtime should I expect?

Patients will notice a change immediately after receiving your Bellafill injections. Bruising along with swelling may happen following your injection but will resolve within two weeks. There’s no downtime required after Bellafill treatment, and you can return to work immediately after you receive injections.
