Make Your Eyes Pop With Latisse Lash Extension

If you love long, lush lashes, you probably have a love-hate relationship with mascara. Sure, with a good lash curler and a few layers of chunky color, your lashes look darker, thicker, and longer than their natural state. But soon enough, the color and texture flake off.

You may have tried lash extensions, but were frustrated by how often you had to replace them. And if you wear contact lenses or have sensitive eyes, daily false eyelashes are out of the question.

FDA-approved Latisse® is a unique brush-on treatment that helps your own eyelashes grow longer, thicker, and darker. Whether you were born with skimpy lashes, lost them to alopecia or cancer treatments, or simply want more lushness, Latisse can help. Available by prescription only, Latisse has a long history of safety and efficacy.

At Aesthetics by Dr. Lee — in Roseville, California, and serving the greater Sacramento area — Dr. Luis Lee and our dedicated team can transform your eyelashes with Latisse.

Do you want your eyes to pop? Here’s how Latisse can help make your dream come true.

Grow a garden of lashes

You must be as patient with Latisse as you would when you plant a rose bush. Your flowers can’t bloom overnight, and your lashes can’t either.

Latisse works by stimulating your follicles to produce longer and lusher lashes. That means the lashes that are presently in your lids must first fall out as part of their natural lifecycle before new, better ones can grow in.

Some women and men see longer, lusher lashes after the first 30-60 days of daily applications. For the most dramatic results, though, you must wait until you reach about 16 weeks of daily use.

Follow instructions carefully

Latisse is a prescription therapy and must be applied properly. You must first clean and dry your lashes before applying Latisse at bedtime.

You must also be sure to only apply Latisse with the included single-use wands. Use a fresh new wand with each eye to prevent bacterial growth. Reusing the same wand could lead to an eye infection.

Latisse is easy to apply, simply brush the formula onto the upper lid at the lash line. Don’t get Latisse on your eyelid itself or on other areas of your face. Blot off any excess carefully with a tissue. Throw away the applicator and open a new applicator to repeat the process the next day. Make sure to tightly close the bottle after each use.

Avoid rubbing or rinsing the eyes and wait at least 15 minutes before inserting contact lenses. Latisse should be applied no more than once per day.

Apply daily to maintain growth

Because your eyelashes naturally grow, fall out, and then regrow, you can’t stop using Latisse. You must continue daily use to maintain your long, lush growth.

But you won’t need much encouragement to continue using Latisse after you see your results. You can expect your eyelashes to be 106% fuller, 25% longer, and 18% darker. Not only that but each time you purchase Latisse, Alle members can earn rewards and may use any current Alle points towards their Latisse purchase!

Be sure you’re a candidate

It’s important to discuss with your provider if Latisse is the right product for you. Latisse is safe for most healthy women, men, and even children, but you can’t use it if you’re pregnant or nursing. You also shouldn’t use it if your eyes are sensitive to any of its ingredients. You may not be able to use Latisse if you have an eye disorder or disease. Overall, it is important to tell your doctor about any possible conditions.

Side effects with Latisse are rare. There is a possibility that some Latisse users will experience periorbital fat loss as a side effect. Discontinue use if your eyes become irritated, red, or itchy. In rare cases, it may darken the area of the lid where it’s applied. In some instances, it increases brown pigment in the eye’s iris.

Feel free to wear eye makeup, too

Just because your own lashes are now long and lustrous doesn’t mean you have to give up your mascara. You can wear eye makeup and even false lashes with Latisse.
